Please read this instruction manual carefully and
familiarise yourself with your new deep fryer
before using it for the first time.
Please retain this manual for future reference.
An extension cord may be used with care;
however, the marked electrical rating should be at
least as great as the electrical rating of this
appliance. Extension cords should not be
allowed to drape over the counter or tabletop
where it can be pulled or tripped over.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety
precautions should always be followed to reduce
the risk of fire, electric shock and/or personal
injury, including the following:

Read all instructions before usíng.

Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or
knobs.
-
To protect against fire, electric shock and
personal injury do not immerse cord, plug or
controlbox in water or other liquid.
-
Close supervision is necessary when any
appliance is used by or near children.
-
When not in use and before cleaning, be sure
to disconnect the deep fryer by moving plug
from electric outlet. Allow to cool before
putting on or taking off parts, and before
cleaning the deep fryer
-
Do not operate with a damaged cord or plug
or after the deep fryer malfunctions or has
been damaged in any manner. There are no
user serviceable parts.

Do not use outdoors.
-
Do not let cord hang over edge of table or
counter or touch hot surfaces.
-
Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric
burner or in a heated oven.
-
Do not use this deep fryer for other than
intended household use.
-
Be sure ON/OFF switch is off, before
plugging cord into outlet. To disconnect, turn
the ON/OFF switch off, then remove plug by
holding the plug body and pulling it from the
outlet. Never yank or twist the cord.

Allow basket to cool before removing it from
main unit.
-
Do not use on carpet or vinyl table cloth.
-
Do not energize unit without oil in the bowl.
-
Do not get in contact with hot oil.
-
Do not fill bowl with liquid other than oil. Do
not immerse water in the oil, this will cause
serious danger and the oil will be spitting out
of the bowl.

The filter does not need replacing. The lid
can be cleaned in hot soapy water or in the
dishwasher. Always ensure that the lid is
completely dry before replacing the lid onto
the fryer.

If smoke should occure in the appliance,
immediately unplug the appliance and let it
cool off.
-
Before pulling the mains plug, switch the
temperature selector to the lowest position.
-
Provide proper ventilation when using the
appliance.
-
The deep fryer can reach very high
temperatures when in use. Oil and fat
preparations might catch fire if overheated.
-
Be extremely careful never to leave your
deep fryer in use for a long period of time.
Remember to turn off the appliance as soon
as the preparation is finished.
