assembly up and down. The guide post/upper
blade guide assembly is set correctly when the
bottom edge of the guide bearings are approxi-
mately

being cut.
To adjust the guide post:
1. Disconnect the machine from the power
source!
2. Loosen the guide post knob bolt shown in
Figure 28.
3. Slide the guide post/upper blade guide
assembly to approximately
1 ⁄
4
" above the top
surface of the workpiece.
4. Tighten the guide post knob bolt.
