BEFORE PLAYBACK

Preparation
1 Switch on the television and select the preset channel for the
DVD player.
2 If an audio system or an AV receiver is connected to the DVD
player, switch it on and select the audio input for the DVD
player.
3 Switch on the DVD player by pressing » ON/OFF « on the
device.
– Display on the DVD player »{O dISC«, on the television –
»No Disc«.
Inserting a disc
1 Press »
ə
« on the DVD player, or
press and hold down » 7 « on the remote control.
– Display on the DVD player »OPE{«, on the television
»
ə
Open«, the disc drawer opens.
2 Insert the disc you want to play in the disc compartment with the
label facing upwards.
3 Press »
ə
« on the DVD player, or
press and hold down » 7 « on the remote control.
– Display on the DVD player »CLOSE«, on the television
»
ə
Close«, the disc drawer closes, afterwards the »LOAd«
display flashes (Display on the television » w Loading«), the
disc is scanned.
– Display: the elapsed playing time of the title.
Notes:
Playback of the disc starts automatically.
If the »-« symbol appears on the television screen, the select-
ed function is not possible with this disc.
Removing discs
1 Press »

press and hold down » 7 « on the remote control.
– Display on the DVD player »OPE{«, on the television

Open«, the disc drawer opens.
