FOR YOUR SAFETY:
WARNING
–
Risk of Fire
• Use only rigid metal or flexible metal 4-inch
diameter ductwork for exhausting to the
outdoors. Never use plastic or other combustible
easy-to-puncture ductwork.
• Do not install a clothes dryer with flexible plastic
venting materials. If flexible metal (foil type) duct
is installed, it must be of a specific type identified
by the appliance manufacturer as suitable for use
with clothes dryers. Flexible venting materials are
known to collapse, be easily crushed, and trap
lint. These conditions will obstruct clothes dryer
airflow and increase the risk of fire.
• This appliance must be properly grounded and
installed as described in these instructions.
• Do not install or store appliance in an area where
it will be exposed to water and/or weather.
• The National Fuel Gas Code restricts installations
of gas appliances in garages. They must be 18
inches off the ground and protected by a barrier
from vehicles.
• Install the dryer where the temperature is above
50°F for satisfactory operation of the dryer
control system.
