5. Place the black neckplate setter and the sil-
ver neckplate over the holes on the back of
the guitar body.
6. Secure the neckplate assembly, the guitar
body, and the neck together with the includ-
ed 1

use glue.

" drill bit, drill 1 3 ⁄

" deep holes
straight through the four holes in the back of
the body (
Figure 13 ). Note— Drilling the
holes deeper than 1 3 ⁄

" could result in drilling
out through the fingerboard.

Pick Guard
To attach the pick guard to the guitar body:
1. Push one white and one black wire through
the hole shown in
Figure 15.
2. Push the remaining black wire through the
hole shown in
Figure 16 .
