23 5 - VCR Recording
COPYING FROM DVD TO VHS
The DVD+VCR allows you to copy the contents of a
DVD to a VHS tape with a press of the COPY button.
1 I N S E R T D I S C
Insert the disc you wish to copy in the DVD deck and close the drawer.
2 I N S E R T V H S T A P E
Insert a VHS tape with a record safety tab into the VCR deck.
3 C O P Y T H E D V D T O V H S T A P E
Press COPY on the DVD+VCR front panel.
• The DVD will begin playing and the VCR will begin recording.
• If the DVD disc menu appears, you may need to press PLAY/PAUSE
manually to begin copying.
4 S T O P T H E C O P Y P R O C E S S
When the DVD is finished playing, press VCR on the remote control
and then press STOP to end the copy.
• You must stop the copy process manually when the DVD movie
ends, or the DVD may replay and record over and over again.
N O T E
• If the DVD you are attempting to copy is copy protected, you will not be able to copy the disc. It is not
permitted to copy Macrovision ® encoded DVDs.
