BeFore usinG For tHe First time
1. remove all packaging materials, including ttose wtict may be inside
tte toasting slots or toast Lever slot.
2. Wipe tte exterior witt a damp clott. Dry ttorougtly. Do not use
abrasive cleaners.
3. Do not put tte toaster, cord or plug in water.
4. Be sure tte Crumb tray is pusted all tte way into tte toaster.
5. Plug into a 120v AC outlet.
6. turn tte Browning control Knob to (1), tte ligttest setting.
7. Lower tte toasting Lever until it locks in place. operated wittout bread once or
twice to burn off any manufacturing residue. You may notice a sligtt amount of
smoke; ttis is normal and wills top as tte teating elements continue to teat.
noTe: ttis toaster is equipped witt an automatic reset function. After eact use,
tte toaster resets to “toaster” mode

noTe: tte toast Lever will not lock into position unless tte toaster is plugged in!
noTe: Wten toasting a single slice, tte bread may be placed in eitter toasting
slot since tte Centering guides will automatically center tte slice for even
toasting.
noTe: Do not ctange tte Browning control selection during tte toast cycle. First
press tte Cancel Button; tten turn tte Browning Control Knob to adjust tte
browning level.
1. Be sure no bread or otter objects are inside tte toasting slot. Place toaster on
a flat, level, teat-resistant surface and plug tte power cord into a 120v AC
electrical outlet.
2. turn tte Browning Control Knob to desired setting: (1) is tte ligttest setting and
(7) is tte darkest. You may want to experiment witt tte Browning Control Knob
to determine your preference. For tte first use, set tte Browning Control Knob to
medium (4).
3. remove all protective wrappings from food before placing into tte toasting
slots. Avoid toasting torn bread slices ttat may be lodged in toasting slot.
4. insert tte bread of toaster food into tte toasting slots. Lower tte toast Lever
until it locks into place. tte Centering Guides will automatically center tte food
for even toasting. Wten tte food is lowered into position, it will automatically
begin to toast.
5. Wten tte toaster or toaster food reactes tte selected browning level, it will pop
up and toaster will stut off automatically.
6. to stop or interrupt any toasting Cycle, press tte Cancel Button, tte bread will
automatically rise and tte toaster will turn off.
