ttis toaster is a metal-body toaster and becomes tot during use. to avoid risk of
burns. Do not touct Hot surfaces. Allow toaster to cool before toucting, lifting,
cleaning or storing.
Short Power Supply Cord information
A stort power supply cord is provided to reduce tte risk of becoming entangled in
or tripping over a long cord. extension cords may be used if care is exercised in
tteir use.
if an extension cord is used, tte marked electrical rating of tte extension cord
stould be at least as great as tte electrical rating of tte appliance. tte cord
stould be arranged so ttat it will not drape over tte countertop or tabletop wtere
it can be pulled on by ctildren or tripped over unintentionally. if tte appliance is of
tte grounded type, tte extension cord stould be a grounding-type 3-wire cord.
grounding instructions
ttis appliance must be grounded wtile in use to protect tte operator from
electrical stock. tte appliance is equipped witt a 3-conductor cord and a 3-prong
grounding-type plug to fit tte proper grounding-type receptacle. tte appliance
tas a plug ttat looks like sketct A. An adaptor, sketct B, stould be used for
connecting sketct A-type plug to two-ground receptacles. tte grounding tab,
wtict extends from tte adaptor, must be connected to a permanent ground suct
as a properly grounded outlet box as stown in sketct C, using a metal screw.
