The Germ Guardian ® UV-C Mini Sanitizer Wand
Simply pass the light wand over surfaces to kill up to 99% of bacteria and viruses. Also fights odors
and allergens like mold and dust mites. Hospitals use UV-C light to sanitize surfaces.

· Leaks from battery cells can occur under extreme conditions. If the liquid gets on the skin
(1) wash quickly with soap and water or (2) neutralize with a mild acid such as lemon juice
or vinegar. If the liquid gets into the eyes, flush them immediately with clean water for a
minimum of 10 minutes. Seek medical attention.

What is UV-C and why is it so effective at destroying germs like bacteria,
viruses, and mold?
UV-C is part of the ultraviolet light spectrum that is filtered out by the earth’s atmosphere. The
“C” stands for the particular frequency of UV light that kills germs, (200nm to 280nm). UV-C light
is highly effective at killing microorganisms. Hospitals use UV-C light to sanitize surfaces.

IS DAMAGED. DO NOT EXPOSE SKIN OR EYES TO WITHIN 3 INCHES OF THE UV-C MINI
SANITIZER WAND FOR A PERIOD OF 3 HOURS OR MORE. SKIN OR EYE IRRITATION COULD
