• Fit the end of the steering column through the hole in the
steering linkage.
• Fit a cap nut on the end of the steering column.
• Tap the cap nut with a hammer to secure it to the end of the
steering column.
Hint: You may need the help of another adult to hold the steering
column in place while you tap the cap nut.
Cap Nut Cover
• “Snap” the cap nut cover over the cap nut and into the
steering linkage.
• Turn the vehicle upright.

• Position the turn signal with the hollow side down.
• Fit the wire with connector on the end of the steering wheel through
the center of the turn signal.
• Fit the turn signal onto the steering wheel.
