Specifying disables the Tape Navigation feature. With the "1 TAPE
NAVIGATION ", you cannot use the options "2 PROGRAM TITLE ",
"3 DELETE TAPE NO. DATA", and "4 DISPLAY TAPE NO. DATA".
Each time you press 1, and alternate.
3. Press GUIDE after you are done with the set-up.
PROGRAM TITLE /
When you do not want to store program titles in memory, specify "PROGRAM TITLE
" as follows.
1. Press GUIDE, then press 7.
The "TAPE NAVIGATION MENU" will appear.
"PROGRAM TITLE " is specified at the factory.
2. Press 2 to switch "2 PROGRAM TITLE " to "".
After is specified, no program titles are stored in memory. Instead of a title,
the recording date, recording start time and channel will be stored.
Each time you press 2, and alternate.
3. Press GUIDE after you are done with the set-up.
DELETE TAPE NO. DATA
When you want to delete unnecessary tape data or the tape data memory becomes so
full that deletion of some tape data is crucial, use this option as follows.
You cannot erase the data of the tape loaded in the VCR. Eject the tape before
performing the following:
1. Press GUIDE, then press 7.
The "TAPE NAVIGATION MENU" will appear.
2. Press 3. The screen displays tape numbers, months, and dates of the last recordings
made on the tape.
