2. Press the select or button to select the type of tape.
Since this screen is displayed for a short time, press the button quickly.
When you use a tape other than those displayed, select "1 AUTO <~T-120>.
3. Perform recording or timer (delayed) recording.
Record programs in sequence from the beginning of the tape.
If the recording time is less than five minutes in the SP mode (less than 15 minutes in
the EP mode), the tape data is not stored in memory. If the type of tape specified is
incorrect, the data is not stored correctly even when recording is performed for more
than five minutes.
Once you have specified the type of tape, it is not necessary to specify it when you
are going to record a program on the same tape again.
TAPE NAVIGATION /
When you do not want to use the Tape Navigation feature, specify TAPE NAVIGATION
in the menu as follows. If a cassette is in the VCR, eject it before performing the
following:
1. Press GUIDE, then press 7.
The "TAPE NAVIGATION MENU" will appear.
"TAPE NAVIGATION " is specified at the factory.
2. Press 1 to switch "1 TAPE NAVIGATION " to "".
