STOPPING THE ENGINE

THROTTLE GRIP
N (neutral)

To stop the engine in an emergency,
pull the clip out of the engine stop
switch by pulling the lanyard.
We suggest that you stop the engine
this way occasionally to verify that
the engine or emergency stop switch
is operating properly.
Press the engine stop switch until
the engine stops.
When the boat is not in use,
remove and store the emergency
stop switch clip and lanyard.
Move the throttle grip to the
slowest speed and gearshift lever
to the N (neutral) position. 1.
