FILE (TRACK SKIP)

ADVANCING TO A SUBSEQUENT FILE

Press the

¡/¢ button on the unit or ¢

button on the remote controller a number of times
equivalent to the number of fi les through which play
is to be advanced.

RETURNING TO THE START OF THE CURRENT
FILE OR A PREVIOUS FILE

When the

4/1 button on the unit or 4 button

on the remote controller is pressed, play returns to
the start of the current fi le.
Pressing the same button several times will locate
the start of a fi le the equivalent number of fi le starts
before the current play position.

The search mode is established by holding down
the

4/1 or ¡/¢ button on the player or

1/¡ button on the remote controller.

Note

Sounds do not come out during search operations.

USING “REPEAT PLAY” MODE

All fi les or one fi le can be played repeatedly. The all-
fi le repeat function plays back all fi les in a medium or
in a folder, as previously set (see page 18).

REPEAT

Each time the REPEAT button on the remote
controller is pressed, Repeat Play mode cycles in
the following order.

Press the

2 button to begin playback in the selected

repeat mode (see page 9).

RANDOM PLAY (PLAYING
TRACKS IN A RANDOM SEQUENCE)

You can randomly play songs.

RANDOM

During stop, press the RANDOM button on the
remote controller. (See page 10)

Tip

This function plays back all the songs in a medium
or in a folder, as previously set (see page 18).

AMS PLAY (SEARCHING FOR
A SPECIFIC FILE)

You can play the fi rst 10 seconds of each track
starting from the fi rst track.
Press the AMS button on the remote controller to
automatically begin AMS play (see page 10).
