4. Connect the 12V DC POWER CORD into a compatible 12V DC vehicle power socket or
other 12V receptacle.
5. Place the COOL/OFF/HOT switch in the HOT position. Verify the POWER INDICATOR
next to the MODE SWITCH illuminates RED. The COOLING FAN and thermoelectric
modules should make a humming noise. It is normal for the Cooling Fan to cycle on
and off during operation.
6. Keep the lid closed when in use and disconnect from power supply when not in use.
IMPORTANT: Do not abruptly switch between COLD and HOT during operation. First
switch to OFF (O) and wait at least 15-minutes before changing to another operation.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
• To keep mold from forming and causing damage to the unit, remove food or beverages
when not heating or cooling for long periods of time. Clean up spills and from inner
compartment.
• Do not immerse and never directly spray water or cleaners into vents and controls.
• Clean surfaces with a mild detergent and water. Never use bleach or other harsh
chemicals.
• Store in a clean, dry place when not in use.
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
1. Unit fails to operate in Cooler or Warmer Mode.
• Verify the 12V plug is properly connected to a vehicle or other 12V power
receptacle.
• Check the fuse in the 12V plug by unscrewing top cap and checking fuse. Replace
with compatible 6A-5 x 20mm glass fuse and retry.
• Check and replace the vehicle or other power supply’s fuse or breaker and retry.
2. Unit fails to properly Cool or Warm
• Verify the MODE SWITCH is placed in either the COLD (green LED) or HOT (red
LED) position.
• Confirm the COOLING FAN is operating. You should hear a hum coming from it.
• Make sure all vents and the thermoelectric module are not blocked or obstructed.
IMPORTANT: There are no user serviceable parts except to replace the protection fuse.
