ARE FOR EMERGENCIES

• Operating equipment safely requires the full attention of the operator

• Do not operate the unit when you are tired, ill or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or
medication.
• Never let a minor or inexperienced person operate the unit.
• Do not operate or start the engine inside a closed area or building. Breathing exhaust fumes can
cause death.
• Keep hands away from the drilling bit at all times.
• Keep your hands and the handles on the unit free from oils and fuel.
• Do not hold or carry the unit by the drilling bit.
• When the unit is turned of
f, be sure the drilling bit has stopped before the unit is set down.

SAFETY
• Inspect the entire tool before operation.
• Check for fuel leaks and make sure all fasteners are securely fastened.
• Replace parts that are cracked, chipped or damaged in any way before operation.
• Keep others away when making any adjustments to the unit.
FUEL
SAFETY
• Pour fuel outdoors and away from sparks or open
fl ames.
• Do not smoke or allow smoking near the fuel or the unit when fueling or using the unit.
• Stop engine before removing the fuel cap.
• Empty the fuel tank before storing the unit. It is recommended that the fuel be emptied after each
use.
• Store unit and fuel in an area where fuel vapors cannot reach sparks or open
fl ames from various
other equipment.
DRILLING SAFETY
• Inspect the area to be drilled before operation. Remove objects which can be thrown or become
entangled.
• Hold the unit
fi rmly with both hands.
• Keep all parts of your body away from the muf
fl er and drilling bit when operating the unit.
• Maintain
fi rm footing and balance. Do not overreach during operation.
PRACTICE SAFE MAINTENANCE
• Use proper tools and equipment when conducting maintenance, refer to this manual for additional
information.

ork in a clean dry area.
• Inspect all parts. Be sure parts are in good working condition and installed properly
.
• Remove build up of grease, oil or any debris.
• Remove all tools and unused parts from equipment before beginning operation.

Pengo, warrants its products (Earth
Auger Power Head OMA-250H) against faulty design, material, and
workmanship for the periods listed below
.
The warranty starts on the delivery date to the retail owner and
is non-transferable.

PERIOD
Engine:
24 months or 500 operational hours, whichever occurs
fi rst.
Gearbox:
12 months or 250 operational hours, whichever occurs
fi rst.

The original owner must notify the dealer who sold the product after the owner believes a warranty
condition exists. Products returned must be shipped prepaid. When a warranty claim exists, Pengo
will free of charge, including return freight, repair or replace the product with a new or rebuilt unit at the
manufacturer
’s
option. If further warranty help is needed, the owner may contact Pengo Customer Service

EXCLUSIONS
This warranty is void if
fi eld repairs have been made to the engine, gearbox, and controls without written
approval.
The complete unit must be available for inspection in it’
s original but alleged failed condition.
This warranty does not apply to normal wear or to damage resulting from accident, abnormal use, abuse,
or neglect.
Pengo will not be responsible for the downtime by the customer
, mileage cost, or loss of productivity
incurred by the dealer or contractor as a result of any defect in materials or workmanship of its products.
PRODUCT IMPROVEMENTS
Product improvement and modi
fi cations is an on going process at Pengo. Pengo reserves the right to
make changes or additions to any product or to the warranty without incurring any obligations to make such
changes available for previously sold products.
Pengo makes no other warranty
.
All other warranties, whether expressed or implied, such as warranties
of mechantablity or
fi tness for a particular purpose, are hereby excluded and disclaimed to the extent that
they exceed the warranties expressly granted in this limited warranty
. In no event shall Pengo be liable for
consequential or incidental damages.
