INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR WOLO POWER BEAM SERIES
Your choice of a Wolo warning light is the perfect choice to compliment your vehicle. Our warning lights are manufactured with the finest
materials. Each light is tested to meet our high standards before it is packaged, to assure a perfect working light. Our quality
workmanship and components is Wolo’s assurance of a product that will give years of dependable service.
MOUNTING
1. Locate the desired location you wish to mount the warning light. For best results you
should make sure the lens is unobstructed so that the light can be seen 360 degrees.
2. Remove the lens by opening the latch on the stainless steel trim ring (Figs. 1 and 2).
Please note how latch opens so that reassembly is easy. Also, there are two rubber
gaskets under the lens that are needed to make the light waterproof.
3. Position the light in the desired mounting location. Place the paper template supplied
under the light and make sure the black dots on the template line up with the holes in
the base. To insure the exact mounting position, it is advisable to tape the template to
the mounting surface.
4. Using the holes in the warning light’s base, mark three (3) hole locations (Fig. 3), (it is best to use every
other mounting hole in the base to insure the installation will be waterproof). Carefully lift the light from the
mounting location and drill holes to size as shown on template.
5. You will need to drill a hole as indicated in the template for the wires. IMPORTANT; Be sure there are no
sharp edges around the hole that the wires will be accessed from.
6. Remove the template; you have completed all needed drilling.
7. For roof mount installations only, push the rubber grommet (Fig. 4) into the hole that was drilled for the
wire. NOTE: the flat surface of the grommet should be placed into the hole.
8. Place the wires from the light through the grommet (for roof mount installations) or wire hole (for other
mounts).
9. Secure the base of the warning light to the vehicle using the hardware provided. To prevent vibration and water leaks, use only the
hardware provided by Wolo in this kit and mount only as shown in (Fig. 5).
10. Secure lens back in place. Be sure that the two (2) rubber gaskets are properly positioned to prevent water from entering
into the light, which will protect the motor and components. Replace stainless steel trim ring and close latch (Fig. 1 above).
WIRING
11. Connect the warning light’s RED wire to the on/off switch, (switch not provided).
12. Connect the on/off switch other terminal or wire to (+) positive 12 volts power source such as battery, alternator, etc.; using
the 15-amp inline fuse provided.
13. Connect the warning light’s BLACK wire to (-) ground, by placing the wire under any metal
body bolt that is clean of paint and rust.
14. If you should need to lengthen any wires use 18 gauge or heavier. Make sure all wire
connections are taped and secured.
Replacement bulb type use only H3/55 watt halogen, 12 volt. Current draw: 9 amp.

Warranty
Wolo Manufacturing Corporation (“Wolo”) warranties to the original purchaser, for three months from the date of purchase, that this
product is free from defects in workmanship and materials. If there is such a proven defect, Wolo, at its option, will either repair or
replace the item free of charge, if it is returned to Wolo within three months from the date of purchase together with proof of purchase
as described below. Wolo reserves the right to inspect any defect prior to settling any warranty claim by repair or replacement. This
warranty is limited as above provided and Wolo will not be responsible for fire or other casualty or accident, due to neglect, abuse,
abnormal use, modifications, faulty installation of this product, or natural causes.
ANY EXPRESSED WARRANTY NOT PROVIDED HEREIN IS EXCLUDED AND DISCLAIMED. THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY AND OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE EXPRESSLY LIMITED TO A TERM OF THREE (3)
MONTHS. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL WOLO BE LIABLE TO PURCHASER OR ANY OTHER PERSON FOR ANY
SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, WHETHER ARISING OUT OF BREACH OF WARRANTY OR OTHERWISE.
To obtain warranty service, return the product prepaid, and include the original bill of sale showing the date of purchase. Provide with
the return a brief description of the problem. Also, include with the return a check or money order in the amount of $10.00 to cover
