Step Three
R EMOVE B RACKET B OLTS ON O RIGINAL B UMPER
Use a socket wrench and 5/8" socket to
remove the bolts that secure the brackets on
each side of the bumper. Discard the brackets

Bolts and Discard
Bracket
Two or more people may
be required to lift the
bumper safely.
Step Four
R EMOVE F ACTORY B UMPER
Position a person on each end of
the bumper to lift it away from the
vehicle. Set the bumper aside.
Two or more people may
be required to lift the
bumper safely.
Step Five
I NSTALL R EAR B UMPER
Position a person on each
end of the Rear Bumper to
lift it onto the vehicle.

Install Washers
and Lock Washers
Step Six
I NSTALL C ENTER B OLTS
Locate the two (2) factory installed
Hex Bolts on each side of the
hitch. Install Washers and Lock
Washers on them.
