Under-bite condition, un-grip,

check wrench nuts, rotate nut out for more bite

OR if heel side is NOT lined up to pipe center

use FINAL ADJUST button (momentary)

Over-bite condition, un-grip,

check wrench nuts, rotate nut in for less bite

OR if heel side is not lined up to pipe center

use RETRACT LEVER,

then FINAL ADJUST button (momentary)

Once lined up,

hit the grip button and take a reading

A good bite,

pointer on die holder retainer plate

lines up with bolt head
