Be sure to follow your facility’s policies and guidelines for frequency of
patient monitoring.
INSPECTION
Inspect before each use: check for broken stitches; or torn, cut or frayed
material. DO NOT use soiled or damaged products.
DISPOSAL
Properly dispose of the product per facility’s policy
for BIOHAZARDOUS materials.
STORAGE AND HANDLING
This device is designed for use in normal indoor environments.
This device may be stored in ambient warehouse temperatures
at normal humidity levels. Avoid excess moisture or high
humidity that may damage product materials.

The Posey Adult Feeding Apron is designed to provide an absorbent, yet
waterproof shield against spilled foods and beverages. The built-in “catch”
pocket (fig. 1) collects food items to prevent scattering over the chair or floor.

APPLICATION INSTRuCTIONS:
1. The Posey Adult Feeding Apron should be positioned on the individual and
secured around the neck using the hook and loop fastener. The apron is
reversible (fig. 2) for extended life. Both sides are absorbent, with the white side
offering greater absorbency.

WASHING INSTRuCTIONS:
• These products can be machine washed under CDC
guidelines for material soiled with blood or bodily
fluid.
• For non-contaminated material, use lower
temperature wash and dry cycles to extend product life.
