DESCRIPTION
Super-Glo Brooders with factory installed thermostat option depend upon a very low current signal on the potentiometer
(temperature switch) circuit. This signal may be interrupted by corrosion on the connectors in the circuit. This kit includes an
anti-oxidant compound which may be applied to the temperature switch connectors to inhibit corrosion.

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Turn off or disconnect all
electrical power and gas
supplies to the brooder.
2. Remove the control box cover. See
Figure 1. Locate the potentiometer
(temperature switch) three-wire
connector on the HSI control module.
See Figure 2. Pull back on the locking
tab at the connector that connects the
potentiometer to the control module.
Disconnect the three-wire connector
from the module and then reconnect it.
Repeat the disconnect and reconnect
process two or three times, this will
help remove previous build up of
corrosion from the connection.
3. Cut a small opening on the end of the
anti-oxidant tube and squeeze a small
amount of the sealant onto the pin
connections on the control module and
inside the three-wire connector on the
potentiometer. Use care not to bend
the connectors.
4. Reconnect the three-wire connector to
the control module and replace the
control box cover.
5. Use a level to verify that the brooder canopy
is hanging level.
6. Turn on or reconnect electrical power and
gas supply to the brooder.
