This sheet shows installation of a Heat Shield to a Super-Saver Bunsen Jet Radiant Brooder with SPI Pilot
Ignition. Refer to Owner’s Manual 4801-0060 for instructions on installation of Brooder.
Installation Of Heat Shield
1. Turn Control knob to the Off position.
2. Shut Off gas supply.
3. Remove 8-32 x ½” screws and 8-32 nuts holding gas valve bracket to canopy.
4. Lift gas valve bracket and slide heat shield underneath the bracket as shown in diagram.
5. Align the four screw holes of the gas valve bracket with the four holes in the heat shield and with the
four holes in the canopy.
6. Attach bracket and heat shield to canopy with 8-32 x ½” screws and 8-32 nuts.

Refer to manual 4801-0060 instructions for placing brooder in service.
