Symptoms: Burner Will not attempt to fire. (Oil Primary Reset)
Is there line voltage (115 V)
in the heaters main electrical
junction box?
Yes No
Call an Electrician.
Check main electrical
service and breaker.
Is the room thermostat
above room temperature?
No Set room thermostat above
room temperature.
Yes
Remove room thermostat wires from
from oil primary control, install jumper
wire on T-T terminal, does the burner fire?
Yes
Is there an open circuit
in the thermostat wires?
No No Yes
Replace thermostat. Repair or replace thermostat wire.
Remove cad cell wires from
oil primary control, does
the burner fire?
No Yes Replace cad cell.
