b. Alliance-mx: See the Alliance-mx Installation Manual for instructions on the
removal of the dome cover.
1. Mount the Alliance-mx dome camera to the Ceiling Can Assembly by first
aligning the cable pass through hole at the base of the Alliance-mx with the
cable pass through hole on the Ceiling Can Assembly as seen in Figure 4.5.
2. Using the (4) 10mm Pan Head Machine Screws, attach the Alliance-mx to the
Ceiling Can Assembly (Figure 4.6].
NOTE: If conduit is required for cable management by national, state
and/or local code, begin your installation by installing the Conduit
Adapter in the Ceiling Can Assembly pass through hole as seen in
Figure 4.7 and securing the adapter with the Self-Locking External
Retaining Ring shipped with this accessory kit.
B. Installing the IQeye Alliance Series Flush Mount to the Ceiling:
a. Using the supplied Printed Template, trace and cut the necessary hole on the
intended mounting surface.
b. With the ceiling hooks in the “stowed” position (Hex Screws rotated counter-
clockwise), mount the Flush Mount to the opening of the ceiling using the ceiling
hooks that were pre-installed on the Ceiling Can Assembly (rotate the Hex
Screws clockwise).
NOTE: When mounting the Alliance Series Flush Mount Ceiling Assembly, take special precaution to
follow all
local, state and national code(s) and safety procedures.
c. Pull any cabling from the ceiling side into the camera through the ¾” NPT hole.
5 Connecting the Camera and Finalizing Installation
Alliance-pro
A. Make any cabling connections between the ceiling side and the IQeye Alliance-pro
camera.
B. Be sure to properly service loop the cabling for proper fit and retained cable
connectivity.
