Getting Started
Connect Hub to router using only the included Ethernet cable.
Then connect Hub to wall outlet (not a power strip).
Option 1: Use Hub with Smartphone/Tablet
1) Connect your smartphone/tablet to your router via WiFi
2) Download the INSTEON for Hub app
3) Launch and follow the onscreen instructions
Once your INSTEON Hub has been configured and devices added, you may also access and have control of INSTEON devices
from any browser by visitin
Option 2: Use Hub with INSTEON Compatible Software
Do not use this option if you are using or plan to use the Hub
with the INSTEON for Hub app. HouseLinc, a powerful free software
for managing INSTEON, can be downloaded from
1) Install software
2) Follow software instructions for adding Hub as a computer
interface
