Electrical connection
The appliance is adjusted to the alternating voltage of 230V~. A power lead with a
plug is to be connected to a plug-in socket with a safety pin only.
Electrical system should fulfil IEC-60364 standards and extra local standards if
required.
It is essential to fill the appliance entirely with water before the connection to
the electric mains.
Start-up
Before the initial start-up please check visually the connections and also if the assembly
of the appliance has been carried out in accordance with the schematic diagrams
and continue as follows:
•
Open the valve on cold water inlet.
•
Turn on one of the hot water taps (water outflow without air bubbles indicates
that the water heater has been entirely filled with water).
•
Turn off hot water taps.
•
Check the connections for leaks.
•
Check, if the safety valve works properly:
-
turn the lever or the turning knob of the valve to open the water outflow from
the outlet pipe. If there is no water outflow, the valve is faulty and the water
heater cannot be operated.
•
Connect the water heater to the electrical mains.
Control
You can set the required temperature using
the temperature adjusting knob on the plastic
casing of the water heater.
The heater is switched off if the adjusting knob
is in left position (anti-clockwise). Setting the
required hot water temperature can be done
by turning the adjusting knob from „ ”(~7°C)
position up to the maximum value (~77°C).
The indicator light „heating on” means that
the water is being heated.
