The AJ-HD1800 is the first broadcast and studio VTR
with XL DVCPRO HD cassette capability to feature an
IEEE 1394 digital interface. It easily teams up with a
DVCPRO HD nonlinear editor to produce a full two
hours of HD content. It also excels over previous
models with its 720/50p image capability, built-in
input up-converter, standard-equipped UMID/VANC
metadata function, and superior cost-performance.
