While stopped
Press [SETUP] to show the menus.

Press [ 3 , 4 ] to select the menu’s tab
and press [ 1 ].

Press [ 3 , 4 ] to select the menu and
press [ENTER].

press [ENTER].
The screen now shows the menu again.

To return to the previous screen
Press [RETURN].
To exit the SETUP screen
Press [SETUP].
Panasonic DVD players and recorders use the same remote control
system so they may respond unintentionally to a command from this
remote control. Change the code on this unit and its remote control
(the two must match) if you place equipment close together.
≥ Use “1”, the factory set code, under normal circumstances.

trol Code” and press [ENTER].

Press [ 3 , 4 ] to select the code (1, 2,
or 3) and press [ENTER].
The remote control code on the unit has been set.

While pressing [ENTER] on the
remote control, press and hold the
numbered button ([1], [2] or [3]) corre-
sponding to the code you selected in
step 4.
The remote control code on the remote control has been set.

Press [SETUP].
The following display appears when you use a remote control with a
different code.
If you are trying to use this unit’s remote control, change its code to
match the unit’s (
➜ step 5, above).
Stereo 1 :Records sound (L1, R1) when DV recording is taking
place.
Stereo 2 :Records added sound such as narration (L2, R2)
subsequent to original recording.
Mix :Records both Stereo 1 and Stereo 2.
≥ L1 r L2 are recorded in L and R1 r R2 are recorded in R,
except for SAP. When recording to a DVD-R or record-
ing in LPCM audio, the audio selected in “Select MTS”
(
➜ page 53) is recorded as Stereo 1.
