ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
The Purist whirlpool, as a class 1 appliance,
may be permanently connected to fixed
wiring or connected using the 10A supply
plug provided. This should be a separate line,
direct from the switch board and should be
protected by a residual current device (RCD)
with a rated trip current not exceeding 30
mA/30 millisecond and a minimum current
rating of 10 Amps.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or its service
agent or a similarly qualified person in order
to avoid a hazard.
The parts containing live components must
not be accessible to a person in the whirlpool.
Exceptions to this are the whirlpool controls,
light and remote control.
We recommend installing a PDL 596/56RCD-
30 switch on the bathroom wall at a con-
venient height to prevent child tampering.
This device would supply an RCD protected
supply to the whirlpool controller or pump,
depending on the whirlpool model, via a
PDL 651 VWP permanent connection or PDL
691/15 wall socket located under the whirl-
pool surround.
Please note that the plugs and sockets on the
blue control box are not user serviceable and
should not be unplugged.

TESTING
Fill bath to 30mm above Jets, check for leaks
in plumbing and test all functions on Keypad.
If a Remote Control is included, check all
functions of Keypad using Remote Control
