You can use VCRs or other units connected to
the VIDEO or SAT jacks. Refer to the operation
manual supplied with the unit for further
information on the operation.
Press FUNCTION repeatedly until VIDEO or
SAT that you connected the unit to appears
in the front panel display.
Each time you press FUNCTION, the mode of
the system changes in the following sequence.

t AM t VIDEO t SAT t TV* t
DVD t FM...
If you change to SAT mode when you use both
the SAT AUDIO IN (L/R) jacks (analog
connection) and OPTICAL DIGITAL IN jack
(digital connection) at the same time, the
OPTICAL DIGITAL IN jack takes priority.
* When selecting the TV, TV sound is output. When
connecting to TV only using the SCART jack, no
sound is output from TV.
You can enjoy multiplex broadcast sound when
the system receive the AC-3 multiplex broadcast
signal.
Note
To receive the AC-3 signal, you need to connect a
digital satellite tuner to the system with an OPTICAL
cable (page 26) and set the digital output mode of the
digital satellite tuner to AC-3.

Press AMP MENU.

Press x/X repeatedly until
“Customize” appears in the front
panel display, then press ENTER or c.
The system enters the Customize Menu
mode.

Press x/X repeatedly until “Dual
Mono” appears in the front panel
display, then press ENTER or c.

Press x/X to select the sound you
want.

Sound of the main language will be output.
