Connecting components
To connect your video components:
1 Connect your video cable to the receiver
based on the type of device you are
connecting.
2 Connect the other end of the cable to the
device.
Note
Place the AM loop antenna as far as possible from
the receiver, television, speaker cords, and the AC
cord. Change the position of the antenna until you
get the best reception of your favorite AM stations.
Note
To improve reception, you may use an outdoor AM
antenna instead of a loop AM antenna.
Disconnect the indoor antenna before replacing it
with an outdoor antenna.

When recording video sources through the
VIDEO 1 OUT jacks or viewing video sources
through the MONITOR OUT jack, you must use
the same type of video jacks that you used to
connect to the video playback components.
