ASSEMBLY
ATTACHING THE GRASS DEFLECTOR
See Figure 4.
WARNING:
The line cutting blade on the grass deflector is sharp.
Avoid contact with the blade. Failure to avoid contact
can result in serious personal injury.
Follow these steps to attach the grass deflector.
1. Slide the grass deflector onto the attachment shaft
and fit it over the bracket.
2. Install the bolt through the holes in the tabs on the
grass deflector and the slots in the bracket on the
attachment shaft.
3. Install the flat washer, the lock washer, and the wing
nut.
4. Tighten the wing nut securely.
5. Remove the protective packaging from the line
cutting blade.
