If you are not going to use the appliance for a longer period of time, we
advise you to remove the adapter from the wall socket to save energy.
removing the rechargeable batteries
Only remove the rechargeable batteries if they are completely empty.
NiCd/NiMH batteries can be harmful to the environment and may
explode if exposed to high temperatures or fire.

Let the appliance run until it stops, undo the screws and open the
vacuum cleaner (Fig. 21).

Cut the connecting wires one by one and remove the
batteries (Fig. 22).
