If the engine has been running, the muffler will be very hot. Allow
it to cool before proceeding.

3 6 mm TAPPING SCREW
The spark arrester must be serviced every 100 hours to keep it
functioning as designed.
Loosen the 5 mm hex bolt, then remove the top cover (see page
).
Remove the 3 6 mm tapping screw from the spark arrester,
and remove the spark arrester from the muffler.
