User Level is used to select Normal or Advanced operation. Advanced Mode performs several
functions which will benefit the experienced user. Icons are not shown and numerical data is
smaller to allow more of the display to be used for the picture of the bottom. Several other
changes in operation occur which are designed to increase the speed of adjustments, and
maximize the graphic use of the display.
Units is used to select the way in which the Wide W displays your boat speed. Two options are
available, KTS and MPH. KTS displays your boat speed in knots or nautical miles per hour. MPH
displays statute miles per hour. The units of measurement are always displayed on-screen.
Boat speed and water temperature features require the use of the optional temp /speed
accessory, which must be purchased separately.
