We recommend distilled water, but you may use tap water,
unless you have hard water in your area. Using hard water
will shorten the life of your appliance.

QUestion: Where does the dirt go?
The Pet Plus™ is NOT a vacuum, so it does not have any
suction power to pick up dirt. Be sure to vacuum or sweep
up any loose dirt before using your Pet Plus™ Steam Cleaning
Floor Sanitizer. The Pet Plus™ is designed to use the power
of steam to thoroughly clean your floor while killing up to
99.9% of E.coli, Salmonella and other common household
germs. You’ll notice the bottom of your cleaning pads will
likely get dirty after cleaning your hard surface floors. That
is why they’re made to be washable and reusable.
