Hands-Free Cellular Phone Interface System
2003–04 Accord and Pilot; and 2004 Civic, Civic Hybrid, CR-V, and Odyssey

The Hands-Free Cellular Phone Interface System allows users to plug a cell phone into the vehicle’s
audio system, enabling them to have a “hands-free” conversation. The Interface System
automatically mutes the vehicle’s audio system* and allows the driver to carry on a conversation via
the audio system’s front right speaker and a remote microphone. The system also disconnects the
call at the end of the conversation.
The Hands-Free Cellular Phone Interface System consists of the following:
• Hands-Free Phone Base Kit: Main Unit, Wiring Harnesses, Microphone, and Ear Piece
• Hands-Free Phone Attachment
• Hands-Free Phone Cable (See page 2 for more details.)
* NOTE: When the phone is in use, the Interface System will respond as follows:
2003 PILOT 2003 ACCORD
LX, EX, EX-L Mutes radio, active display All Mutes radio, active display
EX-L Navi Turns off radio, inactive display
EX-L RES Leaves on radio, no muting
