MUTE function
Push the MUTE button to temporarily turn down the sound level to the minimum.
Use this function when an emergency vehicle (e.g. ambulance, fire truck, etc.) is
approaching or before crossing a railroad. Push the MUTE button again to cancel
the MUTE function.
Turning power OFF
Turn the power OFF as follows:

• Be sure to turn the sound level down to the minimum before tuning the power OFF. This
will prevent loud sounds from being emitted suddenly when the power is turned ON
next time.
ADVICE
• The MUTE function is cancelled by turning the power OFF.
• The sound level cannot be adjusted while the MUTE function is engaged.
USEFUL INFORMATION
Push the VOLUME DOWN button to turn the sound down to the minimum.
Push the amplifier unit POWER button to turn the power OFF.
Turn OFF the power of the portable audio unit connected to the amplifier unit.
POWER LIGHT
The light should go
OFF.
POWER LIGHT
The light blinks when the
MUTE function is armed.
