IN-tact™ 1101 Cabling Overview
The Hypercom ® IN-tact 1101 can be used as an IP gateway device for a
directly-connected single terminal or a network of terminals. Because there are
a variety of configuration, cables must be ordered and are shipped separately
from the IN-tact unit. This brief guide provides cable information for each of the
possible IN-tact 1101 configurations and examples of how each cable is used.
Cable List
The following list provides the part number of each cable that can be used with
the IN-tact 1101, a description of the cable, and how the cable is used.

500401-001 120 ohm Terminating Resistor 120 ohm terminating resistor for the
beginning and end of a daisy chain.
Two resistors are required.
810071-001 Standard Ethernet cable
Male RJ-45 to Male RJ-45
10 ft. length (3 meters) Connect LAN port to router, hub,
DSL, or cable modem.
(1 for 1, not crossover)
810331-002 Male 9-pin DIN to Male 9-pin

18 in. length (45.7 cm) Direct connect IN-tact Port 2 to ICE™
Series terminal or T7Plus terminal.
