4. Plug your Desktop Air Purifer back in.

Your new Hunter Desktop Air Purifier can be
setup to operate either standing up or turned
on it’s side. To run the Air Purifier on it’s side:
1. Turn the unit off and unplug from power.
2. Locate the Rubber Feet located on the side
of the Air Purifier. Figure 5.

3. Turn the unit so that it rests on the rubber

Note: The Hunter logo on the knob of the
door can be turned to face upward without
unlocking.

6. Plug the unit into a 120V electrical outlet.
Dust and other irritants are pulled into the air
purification system by the fan. The washable
pre-filter attracts larger particles like, pet
dander, hair, and odor causing particles
and traps them on the pre-filter. Smaller
particles such as dust, mold, and pollen pass
through the pre-filter and are captured by the

6. Ensure the disk on the back of the front
grill knob is facing flat side out. Figure 3.
Place the latches over the arms on the
unit and gently push the front grill back in
place. Twist the knob until the Hunter logo
is facing up.
PermaLife ® filter. Up to 99.95% of particles
as small as .5 microns can be captured.
The ionizer charges any remaining particles
causing them to clump together and fall to the
floor or surface where they can be removed
by cleaning. Clean, purified air is then
released into the room through the side grill.
