Manual Exposure
The aperture indicated on the camera
and lens is for a subject at infi nity. While
at non-macro ranges this has no eff ect on
exposure, in macro photography the ef-
fective aperture slows as the distance to
the subject drops. When setting exposure
manually, add the following exposure fac-
tor to the value given by the exposure
meter.
