PLENUM EQUIPMENT BOX
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
* In compliance with NEC Article 300.22c
When External Wiring Connections to the Box are in made in accordance with those requirements.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
This version can be attached to any Flat Surface using the Optional Supplied Flat Plate or
Suspended using the Optional Extra Cost Hanging Kit, In all cases all Cables are enclosed in
Conduit to and from the Plenum Box. The Box (with the Cover removed) is then attached to the
Mount using 4 Screws. The Amplifier, Power Supply or any other Equipment including the 1
Gang Receptacle are then installed inside the Box together with all relevant Cables. Attaching
the Cover completes the installation.
1. Surface Mount with (4) 8.32 Truss Head Screws
2. Plenum Box with Removable Cover with (6) 8.32 Truss Head Screws.
3. Single Gang Box with 2 Position Receptacle
4. (1) 10.32 x 5/8" Round Screw for Mounting Recepticle Box to Plenum Box

Access to the inside for Installation and Servicing is simple,
removing the 6 screws makes it very simple for a technician to
make adjustments at any time.
The Power Cable's Conduit attaches to the Plenum Box using a Standard Conduit Connector (Customer
Supplied), with the wires teminating directly to the Single Gang Receptacle Box inside.

ADDITIONAL SIGNAL INLET/OUTLET PORTS
The amount of Power Outlets can be increased to SIX using up
to two 3 Position Taps.

Additional Access Ports are provided in the Surface Mount for those occasions when access to and from
other equipment is required.

FITTING THE HANGING KIT
The Installer attaches an Eye Bolt at each Corner. Each Pair of Hanging Wires simply Clips to each Eye
Bolt.
These Assemblies are UL & CSA Listed and are rated at Maximum Load of 100 lbs. At the
Ceiling or Support End, the Cable is simply "looped through a "Gripple®". The Looped end is then
adjusted for the correct Length and Level, and the job is done.
