The Extron PS Series of External Power Supplies is designed and
manufactured to meet Extron’s stringent specifications. These robust
products offer increased durability, energy efficiency, and reliability
when compared to traditional power supplies.

While typical power supplies last for three years, the PS Series is
designed to last up to 45 years. Now, the life of the power supply is
typically longer than the piece of equipment it is powering, reducing
downtime and service calls. PS Series products are available in the
most popular voltages used by Extron products: 9, 12, and 15 VDC.

The PS Series of ENERGY STAR qualified power supplies offer low
power consumption. This efficiency helps to reduce operating costs
and meet green building requirements.

The PS Series features a one-eighth width enclosure that can be rack
mounted when used with an Extron basic or universal rack shelf kit.
Channels in the body of the enclosure allow the power supply to be
securely mounted to cylindrical structures, such as projector poles and
table legs, with wire ties.

These power supplies feature ZipClip—a unique system for quickly
and securely mounting the power supplies in a variety of locations.
The ZipClip can be mounted to rack rails, tables, and lecterns, and
the power supply is securely locked into place with a simple “click”.
Wire tie slots in the ZipClip enable proper strain relief and dressing of
excess cable.

Each PS Series product ships with a 6-foot detachable IEC power cord,
a 6-foot output cable terminated in either captive screw or DC plug,
and a ZipClip 100 mounting kit.
