setting button to confirm. When in continuous drainage mode the display will show the
icon permanently and the device will dehumidify continuously.
When toggled to automatic mode the -symbol will be lit. In this mode the required
relative humidity can be changed by using the setting button .
The required set relative humidity is confirmed by pressing the mode button , or by
waiting for 3 seconds. The -symbol will now be shown permanently.
When in fan mode the -symbol will be lit.
In this mode the fan speed can be changed between high speed and low speed by pressing
the “setting button” .
The required fan speed is confirmed by pressing the “mode” button , or by waiting for 3
seconds.
IN AUTOMATIC MODE:
When room relative humidity is below the by user set humidity the compressor will turn
off and the fan speed will turn to “low” speed. In this case the device is not dehumidifying.
When ambient temperature is detected to be above 32°C the fan speed will turn to “high”
speed.
AUTOMATIC DEFROSTING:
For protection against freezing of the inside of the device at room conditions below 16°C
the device is equipped with an automatic defrosting function: the dehumidifier, will
automatically have a 7 minute defrost cycle every other 25 minutes.
During defrost operation the device is not dehumidifying, the compressor is shut off, the
fan is running at high speed and the display will show .
AUTO RESTART FUNCTION
When power supply is interrupted while the dehumidifier is working, the working mode
and required (set) humidity are memorised until power supply is restored.
PROTECTION AGAINST EXTREME HIGH OR LOW TEMPERATURE
1 When sensor on the air intake detects ambient temperature ≤ 0°C or ≥ 40 °C, the
dehumidifier will shut off automatically for protection reasons and produces a
continuous acoustical alarm signal with 3 long and 2 short signals.
When sensor detects ambient temperature ≤0 °C: “0°C” is shown in the LCD display.
When sensor detects ambient temperature ≥40 °C: “40°C” is shown in the LCD display.
2 When sensor on the evaporator detects its temperature ≥40 °C, the dehumidifier will
shut off automatically (protection), and the symbol of automatic defrost
illuminates.
In this protection mode:
•
Control buttons do not longer function. Remove the power cord plug from mains
and reposition it again to restart the unit.
• After the protection mode of extremely low & high temperature, the appliance will
not keep its memory function when restart.
