Setting the reception sensitivity
The DX function is activated in the original condition of the device. This is
indicated by "DX" [29] on the display [8] when the device is switched on.
Use the DX function if you would like to use the device in normal
operation.
Switch off the DX function if only stations with a high field strength are to
be received. This is recommended, for example, if a desired weak local
station is superimposed by stronger national channels.
To switch off the DX function, press the DX button [18] when the device is
switched on. The "DX" indicator [29] then fades out from the display [8].
Press the DX button [18] again to switch on the DX function again.
