Important safety instructions / Before use / Start-up

Only connect the hair straightener
to a socket matching the voltage
specified on the nameplate.
Never open the hair straightener
or attempt to repair the hair
straightener yourself. Any modifi-
cations will void the warranty.
Only unplug the power supply

from the socket by the mains plug.
Discontinue use of the hair
straightener if it has been dropped
or otherwise damaged.
Untangle the power cord

if it
becomes twisted.
Do not use any additional parts,
which have not been recom-
mended or supplied as accesso-
ries by the manufacturer.
Repairs may only carried out only
by qualified specialist personnel
or in a workshop approved by
the manufacturer. Improper re-
pairs may result in considerable
danger for the user.
Before use
Note: The hair straightener may become
very hot depending on the time used.
Only touch by the handle when hot.
There is a risk of fire and burns. Do not touch the
heating plates

Note: Switch the device off immediately if defective
or malfunctions occur.
Ensure that you are standing on a dry, electri-
cally non-conductive floor surface.
Ensure that your hands are dry.
Untangle the power cord

, if this becomes
twisted.
Do not pull, twist or bend the power cord

and do not run / place on sharp, pointy objects
or hot surfaces.
Do not catch the power cord

in e.g. drawers
or doors.
Be sure your hair is dry.
Unlock the hair straightener by the plates lock

Connect the hair straightener to the mains.
Set the On / Off switch

The flashing operation indicator

means the
appliance is heating up.
Wait 60 seconds for the hair straightener to
heat up. Once the operation indicator

stays
on the appliance is ready for use.
Start-up
Dry your hair completely before using the hair
straightener.
Note: Hair should be clean and free of styling
products. This does not include special products
with assist in straightening hair.
Comb your hair with a wide tooth comb to
detangle.
Divide your hair into individual sections appro-
ximately 3 to 4 cm wide. Hold the section taut
and place the hairline between the heating
plates

Slowly and evenly move the hair straightener
from the hairline to the ends.
Note: Do not keep the hair straightener in one
area more than two seconds. This will provide
the best results without placing too much stress
on the hair or damaging it.
Note: To shape the ends, turn the hair straigh-
tener either inward or outward before drawing
it across the ends.
