Handling and use
This section provides you with important information on handling and
using the device.
Charging the battery
The integrated battery must be fully charged before using the device.
♦ Ensure that the On/Off switch 4 is in the OFF position.
♦ Connect the USB connector of the charging cable 9 to a
PC or a USB power supply.
♦ Connect the Mini USB connector of the charging cable
9
to
the POWER INPUT connection socket 7 of the device. The
operating LED 3 illuminates in red and the battery is charged.
NOTE
► The operating LED 3 illuminates in red during the charging
procedure and in blue after the battery has been fully charged.
► The maximum charging time is about 4 hours, and allows
music to be played for up to 8 hours at a volume level of 50%.
► As soon as the operating LED 3 illuminates in red, the
battery is empty and requires charging.
