Never use metallic objects in the microwave
oven. Metals refl ect the microwave radiation
and it leads to the generation of sparks. This
could cause a fi re and irreparably damage
the appliance!
First use
Installation of the appliance

This microwave oven is not suitable for installa-
tion in a kitchen cabinet. Suffi cient ventilation
for the appliance cannot be assured in closed
cabinets. The appliance could be damaged
and there would be the additional risk of fi re!

Select a level surface that provides suffi cient
room for ventilating the appliance:
■
Maintain minimum clearance of 10 cm from
adjacent walls/surfaces. Ensure that the door
of the microwave oven can be opened easily.
■
Keep a gap of at least 20 cm free above the
microwave.
■
Make sure that the power plug is easily acces-
sible and can be reached and disconnected in
emergencies or dangerous situations.
■
Do not remove the pads beneath the microwave
oven.
■
Do not block the ventilation openings 1. If you
do, it could cause damage to the appliance.
■
Install the appliance as far away as possible
from radios and televisions. Operation of the
microwave oven can cause interference with
radio and television reception.
ATTENTION! MATERIAL DAMAGE!

Do not install the microwave above a cooker
or any other appliance that generates heat.
Installation in such a location could cause
damage to the appliance and lead to a subse-
quent cancellation of the warranty provisions.
Preparing the appliance
1) Remove all packaging materials and any stickers
from the appliance.
NOTE
Do not remove the light grey mica
cover plate that is fi tted in the cook-
ing area to protect the magnetron.
2) Position the star rotator 6 on the drive shaft in
the cooking chamber so that it is seated fi rmly
on the drive shaft.
3) Centre the glass plate 5 on the star rotator 6.
4) Insert the plug into a mains power socket. Use
a 230 - 240 V ~, 50 Hz, mains socket with
16 A fuse. We recommend connecting the
microwave oven to a separate mains circuit.
