Operation / Cleaning and care
Fix it in place with the elastic strap and hook-
and-loop fastener (see Fig. C). To do this, first
lay the long elastic strap of the hook-and-loop
fastener around your stomach. Then place the
other end of the heating pad over the top.
Switching on / off / Selecting
the temperature
To begin, first connect the control
1
to the
heating pad with the plug-in connector
3
(see Fig. B).
Switching on:
Set the control unit
1
to setting 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
or 6 to switch on the heating pad.
Note: The function indicator
2
illuminates after
the heating pad is switched on.
Note: This heating pad features rapid heating,
which allows it to heat up within the first 10 minutes
of operation.
Switching off:
Set Level 0 on the control
1
to switch the
heating pad off.
Note: The function indicator
2
ceases to illuminate.
Selecting the temperature:
Just before using the heating pad, set it to the
highest temperature level (Level 6). This will
cause the heating pad to warm up quickly.
If you wish to use the heating pad over several
hours, set the lowest temperature level (Level 1).
Temperature levels
Set the required temperature level on the
control
1
(see Fig. A).
Level 0:
off
Level 1:
minimum heat
Level 2–5: customised heat
Level 6:
maximum heat
Automatic switch-off
Note: The heating pad switches itself off auto-
matically after about 90 minutes. The function
indicator
2
then starts to flash.
Then select the setting “0” and after about
5 seconds, reset the heating pad to the desired
temperature setting to switch it on again.
Switch the heating pad off (setting “0”) and
pull the mains plug out of the mains socket if
the heating pad is not to be used after it has
switched itself off automatically.

and the heating pad are completely
dry. There is otherwise a risk of an electric shock.
DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
DANGER OF MATERIAL
DAMAGE! Do not under any
circumstances switch the heating pad on to
help it dry.
Use a dry, non-fluffing cloth for cleaning and
care of the heating pad and control
1
.
You can dampen the cloth and use a little mild
liquid detergent to remove more stubborn dirt
from the heating pad.
DANGER OF MATERIAL
DAMAGE! Do not use chemical
cleaning or scouring agents to clean
the heating pad and control
1
. The heating
pad may otherwise be damaged.
