Troubleshooting
The device does not switch on
 The batteries may be empty, fit new batteries.
 Test that the batteries are fitted with the correct polarity. Check the
diagram next to the battery compartment and on the batteries. See
also the description on page 17.
No radio reception, poor radio reception
 Pull the telescopic FM antenna [1] all the way out and make sure it is
aligned correctly.
 Tune to the station you want using the band switch [2] and the
frequency dial knob [23].
 Check whether the DX/LOCAL switch [19] is in the correct position.

Device switched on but no sound
 Check the volume setting.
